I’m a YouTuber and got hacked in July so it will be 3 months this month. I contacted YouTube on X but they told me all I can do is to wait, I don’t understand what’s the long wait for unless they not going to help at all. I have important contacts so I need that Gmail back, I don’t think I’ll ever get it back though. Have anybody had this problem before and get it solved?I got hacked because I thought the email I got was really Sony but it wasn’t. The hacker gave me a link and steal my YouTube information and went live doing Elon Musk crypto currency. YouTube suspended the channel and locked the Gmail. Not sure how I fall for that email thinking Sony wanted to sent me a camera to review but lesson learned via /r/GMail https://ift.tt/3K9YxbJ

Have you ever considered that the very AI systems we hope will make our lives more efficient could also be amplifying our existing flaws, but on a much larger scale? It is a sobering thought, especially when a 2023 Capgemini report found that around 40% of AI systems deployed today already exhibit some form of bias. This isn't about AI suddenly becoming 'evil,' as Elon Musk once pointed out; it is about it amplifying human biases and incompetence at scale. As someone who quietly observes technological shifts over a cup of chai, I often ponder the real-world implications when AI makes decisions without robust human checks. The foundational principle here is simple: 'garbage in, garbage out.' If an AI learns from biased or inaccurate data, it will perpetuate those flaws. The drive for efficiency often pushes companies to deploy AI rapidly, sometimes without adequate testing or ethical governance frameworks (systems ensuring AI is developed and used responsibly), as McKinsey Global Institute highlighted in 2023.We have seen alarming examples recently. In 2023, a major US healthcare system faced scrutiny for an AI tool that disproportionately recommended services to white patients due to biases in its training data (Nature Medicine). Similarly, Amazon's AI recruiting tool showed bias against female candidates because it was trained on historical hiring data that favored men, as reported by Reuters in 2023-2024. Even generative AI models (AI systems like ChatGPT that create new content) have been found to 'hallucinate' (generate plausible but false information), posing risks for critical industries.Professor Fei-Fei Li of Stanford emphasizes, "We need 'human in the loop' not just for ethical reasons, but for practical reasons. AI is good at patterns, but humans excel at context, anomaly detection, and unforeseen consequences." This 'human-in-the-loop' (HITL – combining human intellect with machine learning) approach is vital because, unlike human errors that propagate slowly, an AI error can replicate across millions of instances in seconds, making its impact far more widespread (MIT Technology Review 2022). Moreover, AI's biases can be harder to detect due to the 'black box' problem (difficulty understanding how an AI makes decisions), requiring specialized tools and expertise for auditing (Gartner 2023).Here in India, with our vast diversity, these challenges are particularly acute. AI systems trained on global datasets might not accurately represent India's socio-economic, linguistic, or cultural nuances, leading to biased outcomes in sectors like lending or healthcare, a risk acknowledged by NITI Aayog (the Government of India's policy think tank) in its AI strategy. The rapid adoption of AI in India's booming fintech sector for credit scoring raises concerns about algorithmic bias (systematic errors creating unfair outcomes) disproportionately affecting vulnerable communities, as per RBI reports in 2022-2023. Hum sabko milkar is par dhyan dena hoga (We all need to pay attention to this together).Professor Safiya Noble succinctly puts it: "AI doesn't just automate tasks; it automates decisions. And if those decisions are based on biased data or flawed logic, AI can scale injustice at an unprecedented pace." A Deloitte survey in 2023 found that 70% of executives acknowledge their company has not fully addressed AI ethics, leaving them vulnerable. So, while AI promises efficiency, without genuine ethical oversight and strong human checks, it risks becoming a powerful amplifier of our own existing flawed decision-making, with far-reaching and often unfair consequences. It is about building systems that are both smart and just. What are your thoughts on AI decision-making in critical areas like finance or healthcare? Do you trust AI with big decisions, or do you believe human oversight is always essential? We have seen alarming examples recently. In 2023, a major US healthcare system faced scrutiny for an AI tool that disproportionately recommended services to white patients due to biases in its training data (Nature Medicine). https://ift.tt/l4LYz6R Musk recently made a bit of wave in the gaming space, after tweeting that Grok would be able to create a fully playable game by the end of 2026; completely generated by A.i.. Needless to say, this stirred quite a bit of drama from gamers. Mostly people stating that this was a terrible idea and would never work. That may be a bit harsh but not completely wrong. A.i. Is already used in a variety of capacities in gaming. NPC’s, Upscaling, Procedural Map Generation, are just a few examples of A.i. in games that we use all the time. The notion that an A.i. would be able to create a game that's fully playable, well that's a different story. Games are complicated. They take a ton of time if don't right, a ton of people, storyboarding, iteration, level design, lighting, coloring, texturing, modeling, mo-cap, programming, etc. Etc. Something that an A.i. simply won't be able to do just by saying “Hey, create this game for me.” It’s going to take A LOT of tweaking. A.i. is certainly going to revolutionize our lives in many ways, media will certainly be one of them, but to what end humans are completely removed from that creative process is an ever-ongoing argument – man vs machine in the realm of art. I'm personally not of the mind that A.i. is anywhere near being able to produce feature length films and/or games without human intervention. That doesn't mean it won't be possible in the future, but Elon’s goal of the end of 2026 seems more than pre-mature. Time will tell with X Gaming and its A.i. Studio, but I wouldn't hold my breath on seeing anything substantial. The best A.i. we currently have is often reserved for shorts scenes/segments or still images. These often still must be refined numerous times by prompting and post-production editing to get right. At best it’s a neat experiment to see what A.i. can help speed up in the creative workflow, and a worst, a poor attempt at removing the human element from what makes art truly great.  via /r/ScrimGaming https://ift.tt/NR9gyrB

Years? Decades? Will we ever get there?Earlier this year, Grok - the AI chatbot from Elon Musk’s xAI - made headlines after posting antisemitic content and the company later apologized, blaming it to a code update that supposedly made the model act more human-like and less filtered. That whole situation stuck with me as if a small tweak in an AI’s instructions can make it go from humor to hate, what does that say about how fragile these systems really are? We keep hearing that large language models are getting smarter but the grok case wasn’t the first time an AI went off the rails - and it probably won’t be the last. These models don’t have intent, but they do have influence. via /r/ArtificialInteligence https://ift.tt/t1lpVjE

Would the developers here consider pausing the habit of rolling out random new “features” directly onto the live site? There’s a lot to be said for using a proper sandbox or opt-in beta environment — the same approach companies like Apple or Google take when they want people to voluntarily test upcoming changes.Right now, Reddit often feels like a live testing ground rather than a stable platform. It’s confusing and frustrating for long-time users and moderators alike, especially when features appear and disappear without warning. It is no secret that America has been leading the fight against the patriarchy and instilling more progressive views. In countries were the patriarchy is still in place people often look to America to see the absolute sht show going on over here between the sexes. American women are some of the most privileged and free women in the entire world but are the most vocal about how they're oppressed. Why would a patriarchal society advocate for equal women's rights if a gender war is what it will lead too. I see alot of comments and videos online of blatant misandry and when people call it out they say its okay because men have oppressed women throughout history and I see tons of people agreeing with this rhetoric, why would men in a patriarchal society try to write the wrongs of there predecessors if future generation's of men are still going to be blamed, it would be case of danmed if you do danmed if you don't.   I've talked to Americans women about arranged marriages and most are admittedly against (which i can respect),so I asked them why, they say it is misogynistic and rooted in time were men had control over who women could date, i said understand, I then asked what have your dating experiences been like, they've all been negative they replied, I asked why might that be because the quality of men are terrible they said. How can men be responsible for your own dating life choices if you have the freedom to date who ever you please. Its this contradictory rhetoric that cause many people to role their eyes if all your ex's were narcissistic toxic men thats says more about you then the state of men.  Choosing piss poor quality men and bringing children up into unfortunate circumstances which end up having catastrophic consequences for all parties involved. When you have power you have responsibility, women's power is controlling who gets to have children if every woman on earth disappeared that would be the end of the species, if every man disappeared the species would carry on through sperm banks. You can claim this is a double standard but at the end of the day a man can not have a child unless a woman permits it. Takes Elon Musk and Nick Cannon (two men notorious for being deadbeats) these men could not have gained the status as a deadbeat if women did not allow them to. These women knew who elon and nick were and still ALLOWED these men to hit and impregnate them and then carried their children for 9 months all choices these women made. As far as abortion goes people often advocate for my body my choice you have to keep that same energy for the men you let nut in you, women can not have selective agency over there body, you either acknowledge you have agency over your own life or give those rights to someone else.Sexual liberation seems to be a very big part of modern feminism even though early feminism fought vehemently so women wouldn't be seen as sexual objects then the goal post was moved to women should be able do whatever they want without judgment. Needless to say men in more patriarchal society's do not want their sisters, daughters, mothers selling their box for 3.99 on onlyfans. Unbridled extremists rhetoric from feminism and other adjacent groups has left alot of men feeling disenfranchised and even thought America men are usually more progressives this return of conservatism just solidifies alot of these others patriarchal societal view points that patriarchy is the way. Lack of empathy for men and men's issues regardless of the sacrifice that women and MEN made for women's equality, when the shoe is on the other foot and men needs society helps they get told promptly to fck off and solve your own problem. This type of behavior does not go unnoticed by other patriarchal countries and shaming them into compliance is not going to work ,that was made abruptly clear with the recent election. via /r/PurplePillDebate https://ift.tt/WXxT5lU

Just Asked AI to write about how Musk behave if Trump announced a coup. The story the AI creating is unhinged as heck..

gemma-3-27b-it-qat@

The notification pinged on his encrypted phone, buried amongst a cascade of Dogecoin price alerts and cryptic messages from alt-right influencers. Elon barely glanced at it, too lost in the swirling kaleidoscope of colors blooming behind his eyelids. He’d just chased a hefty dose of ketamine with a Tesla-branded energy drink, and the world was dissolving into a pleasant, amorphous blur.

“Hmm? What’s this now?” he slurred, tapping the screen with a shaky finger.

CNN Breaking News: President Trump Invokes Emergency Powers, Suspends Elections.

A grin stretched across his face, widening into a manic leer. “Oh…oh this is good.” He let out a cackling laugh, the sound echoing in his minimalist, sterile living room. “Finally! The man’s actually doing it.”

He reached for the small vial tucked away in a locked drawer – ketamine, his “thinking juice,” a tool he’d come to rely on for creative breakthroughs and emotional regulation. He prepped a slightly larger dose this time, carefully drawing it into a syringe.

“A little celebration is in order,” he murmured to himself, injecting the drug into his arm.

The effects were almost immediate. A wave of warmth washed over him, and the edges of reality began to soften. Colors seemed brighter, sounds more vibrant. He sank into a plush armchair, his mind drifting in and out of focus.

He turned on CNN, watching the unfolding chaos with a detached amusement. The images of armored vehicles and protesters clashed on the screen, but they felt distant, unreal.

This is a rewrite of an earlier FWI with a similar premise, titled “FWI: Elon Musk attempts to hijack the abortion abolitionist movement”.Author's note: before I start, you're probably wondering why I keep talking about the abortion abolitionist movement. Part of the reason is because of how vigorously they oppose the pro-life movement (over the PLM's insistence against throwing women in prison for having abortions). The other reason is because of their boldness in doing so on religious grounds specifically (They consist of reformed Protestant Christians).Their voice is growing in the community, despite still being a fringe movement. On to the FWI: This time next year, POTUS Donald Trump claims to have had a "religious epiphany" that led to him joining the abortion abolitionist movement (For a refresher on why they oppose the pro-life movement and their theology, here is their breakdown of their reasons for why they hate on pro-lifers and check out the Norman Statement for their "statement of beliefs", so to speak).Trump appears at an abortion abolitionist rally (They apparently do one every year) and claims that he has a had a religious awakening that has led him to "do the Godly thing" and join the abolitionist movement.Eventually, someone leaks a recording of Trump admitting in a public address that he joined the abolitionist movement "because I have big plans for it.” He then posts on X: “Today is a great day for God’s Land! God told me to end abortion, and that’s what I’ll do! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”What we have here, therefore, is a situation where someone claims to have repented and turned abolitionist, only for his actions to indicate that he's attempting to hijack the abortion abolitionist movement for his own ends. via /r/FutureWhatIf https://ift.tt/CAahzjW

The other reason is because of their boldness in doing so on religious grounds specifically (They consist of reformed Protestant Christians).

Their voice is growing in the community, despite still being a fringe movement.

On to the FWI: This time next year, POTUS Donald Trump claims to have had a "religious epiphany" that led to him joining the abortion abolitionist movement (For a refresher on why they oppose the pro-life movement and their theology, here is their breakdown of their reasons for why they hate on pro-lifers and check out the Norman Statement for their "statement of beliefs", so to speak).

Trump appears at an abortion abolitionist rally (They apparently do one every year) and claims that he has a had a religious awakening that has led him to "do the Godly thing" and join the abolitionist movement.

Eventually, someone leaks a recording of Trump admitting in a public address that he joined the abolitionist movement "because I have big plans for it.”

He then posts on X: “Today is a great day for God’s Land! God told me to end abortion, and that’s what I’ll do! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

What we have here, therefore, is a situation where someone claims to have repented and turned abolitionist, only for his actions to indicate that he's attempting to hijack the abortion abolitionist movement for his own ends.
